Beechpally Anjaneyaswamy Temple

About Beechpally Anjaneyaswamy Temple:

Beechupally Anjaneya Swamy Temple is in Beechupally, Itikyal Mandal, Jogulamba Gadwal District; the temple is 200 Km from the riverbank of Krishna. The presiding deity in the temple is Lord Hanuman, with Lord Sri Rama and Lord Shiva.

The temple is on the National Highway NH-7, and a bridge was constructed in the 1950s. This bridge helps trade and transit from Andhra Pradesh to the Central States through Telangana. Jurala Project is also near the temple at a 30 km distance.

Since then, the place has been called Beechupally, and the Lord is known as “Beechupally Rayudu”. Later, Madhwa Brahmins and Gadwal Rulers can perform rituals at the temple.

Gadwal Rulers will conduct the religious chariot festival annually and support the temple. For every 12 years, Krishna Pushkaras are held.

Devotees believe that the water of the Krishna River during Pushkaras will have supernatural powers. Telangana State government constructed many permanent Ghats for the convenience of the people.
