October to March is the best time for the bird watchers and trekking since the river’s channels dry up during this period. November to April is the best time to enjoy the migratory birds which are the main attraction of this park.

Dibru Saikhowa National Park is one of those places which boast of a rich collection of flora and fauna, many of them endangered. It is one of the few remaining protected sites in the Endemic Bird Area of the Assamese Plains. Dibru Saikhowa National Park is a river island national park and one of the 19 biodiversity hotspots in the world.

This National Park is situated 12 km north of Tinsukia in Assam. Of the seven parts of the park, one is a wetland and the rest is mainly covered with grasslands and dense forest. It serves as an excellent place for bird watching as it houses countless varieties. Wildlife photographers, nature lovers and bird watchers should visit this place.
