About Kush Mahal:

Constructed in the 16th century, Khush Mahal is an architectural marvel in Warangal. It was constructed under the reign of Shitab Khan. Khush Mahal.

Khush Mahal was built in the 14th century by Tughlaqs at the site of Karkatiya Palace. The place is a must visit for all the tourists. Khush Mahal is located very near to the Warangal Fort at a distance of about 7 Km from the centre of Warangal city. It is the only building related to the period of Tughlak Dynasty. Although the true reason for building this place is unknown but many believes that the place was used as an auditorium by Shitabh Khan. Khush Mahal is also known as Shitab Khan Mahal. The building is totally influenced by Tughlak architecture. The entire building is constructed out of granite. Its entrance is grand which makes it absolutely stunning in its appearance.
