Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple...
Sri Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple is located exactly to the opposite of Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala. This ancient temple enjoys priority after Sri Bhu Varaha Swamy temple and Lord Sri Venakteswara Swamy temple. Every day, after offering naivedyam to these deities, it is brought to this temple.
According to the legend, Lord Hanuman in his youthful age wanted to leave Tirumala, in search of a camel. This forced his mother Anjana Devi to tie his hands with cuffs and order him to stay in that place till she returned. However, it is believed that Anjana Devi stayed back in Akasa Ganga area and never returned to this place. Hence, the icon of Lord Hanuman in this temple will be seen in a unique form where both his hands were handcuffed (“Bedi-Cuffs”).

KANIPAKAM: “KANI” means one and...
KANIPAKAM: “KANI” means one and a quarter land and, “PAKAM ” means the flow of water into the land i.e., irrigation. This temple has a legend which runs as follows in brief. There are three Handicapped brothers Dumb, Deaf and Blind and all the three used to live by cultivating a small piece of land. While so, when two of them were engaged in padding to lift water through a channel to their wet land, after some time they came to know that water in the well was over. One person got into the well in order to deepen the well, with a weapon, it hit a rock. There he observed that the blood coming out from the stone and with the result whole water was turned into a red color. At very short, it was while all the three persons got rid of their.
But when they tried to dig the well in depth they could not find the full figure of ‘VINAYAKA SWAMY’ and realized that it was a “SWAYAMBHU IDOL” of SWAMY VINAYAKA and their joy knew no bounds. Ultimately they offered many coconuts with all prayers modesty kneeling before the SWAMY VAARI idol and offered “MANGALAHARATHI” etc. They declared the idol as “SWAYAMBHU” and tendered a number of coconuts. These coconut water flew into the channel to a distance of more than one and a quarter acres. The indication of this was recognized as KANIPARAKAM – ultimately called KANIPAKAM which is the Tamil Transcended (Derived) word. Afterwards a small temple was built around the VINAYAKA SWAMY VAARU It is not clearly known when the temple was built. But According to the history in Vogue the temple was said to be constructed 1000 years ago. Even today, we can see the well surrounding the “SWAMY”, which is always flowing with water. During the rainy season, water will overflow.
