About Nameri National Park:

Situated at the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur district of Assam, Nameri National Park is the last home to the White-winged wood duck, the most endangered species of ducks in India. Someone having a love for vegetations like wide grassland, tall evergreen, and deciduous trees can totally spend a good time in the heart of Nameri. Moreover, it connects with Guwahati through swift roads and one will not face any hurdle in reaching this beautiful place.

Nameri National park is an old set up in the foothills of Eastern Himalayas. A huge spread of lakes and water bodies, the sight of Rhinos, Elephants, Tiger, Leopard, Sambhar, Dhole, Hornbills, ducks and Storks are easy in the zone.

River Jiyabharali flows down through the Nameri National Park which provides wide vistas for adventure water sports like rafting and angling.

Activity:

Very good. The weather has become chilly and the ambience was awesome. We stayed at one of the camping dome tent. It was quite comfortable. Nice experience.
