About Sangam Sangameswara Temple:
Sri Sangameswara Swamy Temple is a Saivaite temple located in the small village Sangam which is 56 km from Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh. The Rivers Nagavali, Suvarnamukhi and Vedavathi confluence take place here. Hence this place is called known as Sangam. The place Sangam is similar to one well known as Allahabad. One of the 5 Lingas of Lord Sangameswara is situated here. This is one of the popular pilgrimage sites in the Srikakulam District.
Regular Archana, Abhishekam, Kumkumarchana and Bilvarchana are the rituals & special Sevas performed. Maha Shivaratri, Mukkoti Ekadasi, Kathika Pournami and Sankranti are some main festivals celebrated here.
