Aruvithura Vallyachan Mala is a Christian Pilgrim Center located in a hill top at Aruvithura, Kottayam district in Kerala. People irrespective of caste walk up the hill in remembrance of the way of cross. The way of cross and other prayers are managed by the authorities from Aruvithura Church belonging to the Syro Malabar Rite, in the Diocese of Palai. During lent season before Easter people from other places too visit the place. A small church on top of the hill and the huge concrete cross are the main attractions. This is one of the best and peaceful place to meditate. It is better to visit in the evening, you can watch sunset and experience cool breeze at the hill top. It is a good place to spend some time with family. Good parking facility is available. You can also see various cultivation like dragon fruit farm enroute to the shrine.
